Payment add-ons

SubCharge works today with zero payment add-ons connected — invoices are issued on schedule and payments are recorded manually (EFT, cash, other). The providers below are candidates for automatic recurring charging. We only mark a capability verified after we've run it against that provider's own sandbox and recorded the result — nothing here is assumed from documentation alone.

PayFast: Tokenization and ad hoc charging exist per their docs; availability and activation not yet confirmed against a sandbox.

Paystack: Not yet verified.

Peach Payments: Advertises a card vault and recurring payments per their docs; API not yet verified against a sandbox.

A provider only qualifies for automatic recurring charging once it supports hosted capture of a reusable payment token, off-session charging of that token, and either authentic notifications or a way to query payment status. Live auto-charging additionally requires a written legal opinion on our regulatory status — see /security.
